The Flower That Reminds Me of My Mom
Share
Because all moms are flowers—they blossom their children.
If I had to choose just one flower to represent my mother, it would be a lily.
Not just because it’s graceful and elegant—but because of what it stands for: purity, devotion, and quiet strength. Lilies don’t demand attention—they bloom beautifully and gently, just like my mom did while raising me.
She’s the reason I am who I am today.
She nurtured me, encouraged me, and helped me grow—even when things weren’t easy. Just like a flower needs sunlight, water, and care to bloom, I needed her. And she never let me go without love.
That’s why I believe all moms are like flowers.
They blossom their children—patiently, lovingly, and often without asking for anything in return.
This Mother’s Day, I want to honor that.
Whether it’s lilies, roses, tulips, or wildflowers… there’s a bloom that reminds each of us of the mom (or mother figure) who helped shape our lives. And giving that flower back to her on Mother’s Day is more than a gift—it’s a way of saying:
“I see you. I love you. And I’m grateful for how you’ve helped me grow.”
